Editor’s Message
We are delighted to share March’s Staff Matters with you. In this edition of your staff magazine we celebrate the award of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for our world-leading rail engineering research by meeting many of our colleagues, who were instrumental in this success. We also take great pleasure in reporting the launch of the Southampton Space Institute, which puts colleagues’ research at the forefront of this important discipline. As ever, we feature further news of colleagues’ remarkable work, achievements and activities across academic disciplines and professional services, as well as the usual round up of appearances in the media.
