Editor’s Message
We are delighted to share the June edition of Staff Matters with you.
With publication day coinciding with Social Mobility Awareness Day, we feature the work of our University’s Social Mobility Network. We also have a marine flavour this month with news of a Royal Society Fellowship for Professor Alberto Naveira Garabato and a review of the work of PGR student Molly Phillips’ work on protecting the oceans. As ever we highlight the remarkable work of colleagues across academic disciplines and professional services, while also featuring other aspects of University life such as the Hartley Library Summer Exhibition and a look back at the Southampton marathon.
